2024 Commencement Weekend

Information on diploma ceremonies, Mass, and the University Commencement ceremony can be found at commencement@nd.edu, so check back often. Student Services also will provide students with details specific to our Mendoza Graduate Program ceremony and reception and post information on this site.

Latin Honors

Please take a moment to review the G.P.A. thresholds to graduation with Latin honors from Mendoza Graduate Programs:

• Summa Cum Laude | 4.000 (highest honors)
• Magna Cum Laude | 3.999 - 3.800 (high honors)
• Cum Laude | 3.799 - 3.600 (honors)

Visitor Letters

International students who wish to invite family to attend Commencement festivities should refer to the details provided by ISSA. Please be advised that the "University does not issue invitation letters for Welcome Weekend or Graduation because the Department of State has been very clear that they do not consider institutional invitation letters in determining whether to issue a visitor visa for families wanting to attend orientation, a football weekend, Junior Parent Weekend, or graduation." Mendoza also adheres to the policies outlined by ISSA and does not provide invitation letters.
